Mexican superstar Thalía is stepping into her next era with the music video for "Ya Tú Me Conoces." She teams up with Venezuelan-born duo Mau y Ricky in the colorful clip.
"Ya Tú Me Conoces," or "You Already Know Me," is the lead single from Thalía's upcoming fifteenth studio album. The collaboration marks her second time working with Ricky Montaner of Mau y Ricky, who wrote "Por Lo Que Reste de Vida" for Thalía's 2014 album Amore Mio. Mau y Ricky both penned "Ya Tú Me Conoces" with their usual co-writer, Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo Echeverry. On the reggaeton-pop bop, Thalía and Mau y Ricky put the "fun" into their dysfunctional relationship. Both acts drive each other up the wall but drive each other wild at the same time. Their flirty friction is undeniable.
Thalía and Mau y Ricky translate the playfulness of "Ya Tú Me Conoces" onto the small screen with the vibrant music video. They dance around an empty warehouse while commanding pow!-like comic book powers. This is already an eye-popping start to Thalía's new chapter.
There's no word yet on when to expect Thalía's next album. Last month, she teased a song in the works with Brazilian drag superstar Pabllo Vittar. Mau y Ricky are keeping busy with their collaborations, having recently released "Recuerdo" with Argentine pop star TINI while another track with Colombian producer Ovy on the Drums is on the way.
