K-Pop group BLACKPINK premiered the music video for the highly-anticipated "Ice Cream." The quartet teams up with pop princess Selena Gomez in the colorful clip.
"Ice Cream" is the latest single from the group's upcoming debut LP, BLACKPINK: The Album. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa previewed the album earlier this year with the attitude-packed "How You Like That." Recently, the ladies made headlines for featuring on Lady Gaga's "Sour Candy" from her Chromatica album (one of our favorite songs of the year).
Gomez had a hand in penning "Ice Cream" with fellow pop star Ariana Grande and her usual collaborator Victoria Monét. On the trap-inflected confection, the women of BLACKPINK sing mostly in English. With Gomez, they dish out sweet and sexy lines while flexing their icy diamonds. "I'ma make it better / Sip it like a Slurpee," Gomez offers. On her verse, Lisa eats up the track with her frosty flow that adds some flavor. "Chillin' like a villain," she spits. This BLACKPINK and Selena collaboration is a scrumptious pop dessert served with plenty of bite.
BLACKPINK and Gomez also serve looks for days in the "Ice Cream" music video. Selena turns up the heat as an ice cream truck driver while the women of BP have a blast with the frozen treats. It's snacks abounding in this cute and vibrant clip.
"Ice Cream" is now available on all streaming platforms. BLACKPINK: The Album will be released on Oct. 2. Gomez returned to the pop scene in January with her Billboard No. 1 album Rare.
